Burda 7891 Blouse
Chic blouses for special occasions. Both have waist darts and long sleeves with cuffs. The distinctive ruffled collar with two fabric layers for view B adds a feminine slightly nostalgic touch.

Highly Recommend
Pattern Description: Very feminine fitted blouse with pretty ruffles and gathered sleeves with cuffs. I really liked Burda 8806 but PR reviewers slated it so much I decided not to tackle that one.
Pattern Sizing: I used size 14 and it was about right.

Pattern Sizing:
Size 10 to 20 inclusive - I made an 18 with some modification to better fit my shape

I ordered this pattern on PR because of the ruffles, and when I got it there was a moment of panic. There, in the corner, were the 3 dreaded dots, telling me that this pattern was far too advanced for me. It's true, I never attempted most of these elements. It had a collar, the ruffles that enticed

After I saw this Just Cavalli ruffled front blouse from the Saks Fifth Avenue website a year ago, I wanted to made a blouse with similar styling. When I saw this pattern on PR,which I think originally came from a Burda WOF magazine, I had to buy it!
