Introduction:
I helped my 11 yo brother Ben make these breeches today to go with his pirate shirt. It was his first sewing project, and he did amazingly well! He sewed all the construction seams (there were 4), and I just added the elastic. These went together in about 2 hours!

Pattern Description: A Pirates of the Carribean captain's costume.
Pattern Sizing: Children's 7-12. I used size 7 for my size 6 8 year old so I was hoping it would be a *little* big and allow for growth. It was exactly what I hoped for which actually surprised me.

Easy & Great for Beginners
Pattern Description: Pirates of the Caribbean pattern used, but modified to make a completely different costume. It is a long coat closest to the outfit I wanted to make. The only parts of the pattern that are exactly as the pattern are the sleeves and the upper bodice.
