This is my tried and true jean pattern. I did fold out 1/2" from the front and back about mid-way between waist and crotch as these jeans are pretty high-waisted. I will fold out 3/4" to 1" next time.

This pattern is designed for only slightly stretchy or non-stretch fabric. You can make either bootleg-cut jeans (design A) or straight-cut jeans (design B) with this pattern. The waistline of the jeans lies approx 3cm below the narrowest part of the waist.
