Pattern Description:
From Butterick's Retro Patterns, this is a two piece dress, two versions. A very fitted top and skirt.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I made some changes, but otherwise, yes.

Great Wardrobe Builder
I made only the skirt, in an estate sale vintage wool that I had barely enough of. I had to piece the waistband together from two scraps. I chose this pattern because it was a very simple lined skirt, which would show off this nice fabric. The lining is a crepe-backed satin.
