I broke the rules with this dress and made it in a two way stretch,super stretchy knit,dollar a yard walmart fabric,instead of silk,or satin.I wanted to use fabric that I already had.I tried to pleat the waist,but couldnt do it so I just gathered it instead.yep,broke another rule! UPDATE!!
I did not use my purple jersey knit in my second try of this dress because it had a little too much stretch but boy do I love this plum matte jersey I found.
