Easy & Great for Beginners
Pattern Description: This is McCall's pattern #8934, c. 1997. It's for misses'/men's/teens' boxer shorts in three lengths. They have a mock fly, fold-back waistline casing with 2 rows of elastic, and side-seam pockets. I made shorts "A," with the 12" inseam.

Highly Recommend
Pretty simple boxer shorts -- this pattern has a fake fly (which I like) and pockets (which I don't).
I kept the fake fly and lost the pockets. I also built a "casing" near the waistband for the elastic rather than have the elastic ride up at the top hemline. (I have a short sewing "diary" of sew
