I normally make a size 10, but I made a size 12 because I'm not a fan of the super tight pencil skirt look. This is my first pencil skirt period, store-bought or otherwise so I had no idea how the sizing would work.

I loved this pattern. I usually have trouble with modern instructions not having enough pictures (I'm more visual, so even though they explain stuff I often don't get it) but these were a breeze to make, and they are so so so flattering to a more feminine figure.
