Easy & Great for Beginners
This is a belated birthday gift for my coworker, DAC. I had bought the fabric for an unspecified project and then decided to make this surprise maxi dress for her after a chat about summer styles.
Frankly, I enjoy sewing for her because she's about my height and size, if of a different body shape.

Pattern OK, but did NOT work for Me
I realize that the wrong Burda picture was coming up for this dress the first link is wrong, but I can't seem to eliminate it. Click on the second one.
Pattern Description: "Let's drink a toast to this sleeveless jersey dress with metallic print."

Highly Recommend
In my second attempt, I used "fine" stretch fabric as suggested in the pattern rather than jersey. The jersey looked too casual (see below). In the new edition, I used a purple netting-type knit and a pink lining. The purple has a a bit of a tie-dye effect so the pink lining shows through, to acc
