The bra cups can be made from nylon tricot or nylon sheer and lace. Use power net for the front and back. The bra has elastic at all of the outside edges and adjustable shoulder straps made from tricot and knit press-on interfacing.

This pattern is not recommended for a straight stitch sewing machine.

Tricot for Cups and Straps

1/2 yd (0.50 m) 22" (56 cm) Wide (Minimum Width)



Lace and Sheer for Cups

1/4 yd (0.25 m) 30" (76 cm) Wide (Minimum Width)

and Tricot for


Shoulder Straps

18" x 4" (46 cm x 10 cm)

Knit Press-on Interfacing


for Shoulder Straps

18" x 4" (46 cm x 10 cm)

Power Net

1/4 yd (0.25 m) 28" (71 cm) Wide (Minimum Width)

Cup Sizes - AA or A

2 1/8 yd (1.95 m) of 3/8" (1 cm) wide plush elastic

Cup Sizes - B, C or D

1 yd (0.95 m) of 3/8" (1 cm) wide plush elastic and 1 1/4 yd (1.15 m)
of 5/8" (1.5 cm) wide plush elastic

Notions: Synthetic thread. Back bra fastener, two strap adjusters, scrap pieces of nylon sheer fabric for covering seams (optional).
