Would NOT Recommend
Thanks to those of you who suggested revisiting this garment. I think we've made it wearable. I took a bigger seam allowance by several inches in sleeve and torso and hemmed it in tails rather than straight. I, however, got wild with my French seams and now the top is a bit too small.
