Burda 7401 JACKET
Lightweight jackets with intriguing seam lines. A with short kimono sleeves and in a short, slightly boxy form. B has a standing collar and sewn-on peplum that adds a swinging, feminine touch.

Pattern Description:
Semi-fitted unlined jacket with unusual seaming; long underarm gussets, a short rounded stand-up collar, front pockets that are separate pieces patched together with remainder of the jacket front. View B has longer sleeves, a tie front and peplum.

Great Wardrobe Builder
After making Vogue 1240 for an upcoming wedding I realized that I did not have a suitable jacket to wear with it. Thank goodness we know how to sew !! The cut of the dress made it a little difficult to find an appropriate style, but I think Burda 7401 worked out OK.
