Girls' Leotards

Sizes: 8-10-12-14 (Pattern 2178)
| The leotards are designed for two-way stretch fabric with 75% stretch. We
suggest fabric with spandex or Lycra, swimsuit fabric or cotton lycra. The Girls'
Leotards have long set-in sleeves and leg openings finished with elastic. View A and
B have a mock turtleneck and an exposed zipper at center back. View C & D have
a scoop neckline finished with elastic. View A and C both have an attached circular
skirt. |

Pattern Description:
This is an old Kwik Sew pattern. I needed to make a flesh-tone leotard to go under this dress. I used view C.
Pattern Sizing:
Her measurements put her squarely into a size 5.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

Edited to Add: View A This is the mock turtleneck with the zippered back. You can see from the sleeves that she is outgrowing it. I made it last winter and wanted to add the photo so you could see another view made up.

Pattern Description:
Girls' leotards with long set-in sleeves. Views A and C have attached circular skirt. The cape and boots (which are actually 'spats' that secure to her sneakers with elastic across the bottom) are from OOP Butterick 3583.
