This pattern is for six different evening bags, I made the view E bag with tassel and frog closure. Recommended fabrics are velvet, crushed velvet, embossed velvet, brocade, embroidered beaded silk, embroidered satins and damask.

Highly Recommend
Before I use this pattern for the third time, I thought I would take a moment to write a review of it. I have made view C twice, both times with a velvet exterior and taffeta lining. Highly Recommend
Vogue 9893 is a pattern for 5 different evening bags. I chose to make view B which is a very simple, classic style purse.
The pattern only takes 3/8 of a yard each of face fabric and lining and as I recall that is a generous amount. This would be easy to make with leftover fabric pieces to mat

Easy & Great for Beginners
This is my first time sewing an evening bag. I made view c of this pattern (Drawsting bag). I do have a couple of things to say about this pattern.
