Easy & Great for Beginners
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Basically, though I don't think the sash would work like it does in the picture without side loops, which this pattern does not have.

Recommend, with Modifications
THERE ARE ERRORS IN THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS PATTERN!
I'm in the middle of making Dress View B. Here are the errors I've found so far. Hopefully, it will save you the ripping that I had to do :(
Step 13 should read:
Press seam toward pocket, pressing pocket out.
Step 23 should read:
