Type: Knit
Suitable for:
  • Lingerie
  • Description: 100% polyester that is shiny on one side and matte on the other. It is very strong and supportive and has almost no stretch. Great for making unlined bra cups, especially if you are a larger size.
Tips: It is technically a knit but has very very minimal stretch. Since it is polyester it cannot be dyed, but a large variety of colors are available.
Techniques: Very stable - perhaps the easiest bra fabric to work with

Spatchin911 1/5/12 As a NOVICE/Wannabe bra maker this is good info for me. I probably would have picked the MOST difficult, fancy, lacey fabric to use and have given up on my quest to make the perfect bra for my DIL!

ASiverson 3/1/12 I've knitted a bra for myself and would like to sew one now. Love the website you provided. Thank you!
