Pattern Description:
Misses' special occasion strapless dress has asymmetrically-draped bodice with boning, side zipper and pencil skirt in floor or mini length. Mini dress can be made with sheer flared overskirt with high-low hem or pepluum.

Pattern Sizing: 4 - 20

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? Didn't really use them other than for pattern layout since this dress has an assymetrical design and I didn't want to accidently reverse the pieces.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Like the style. It was pretty easy to sew. The most difficult part for me was altering the pattern to fit the recipient of the dress.

Fabric Used: stretch cotton print

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
FBA, widened the back bodice added to side seams of the skirt front and back.
After making a FBA on the underlining pieces, I lined up the dress bodice front and back pattern pieces to the corresponding underlining pattern pieces and cut and spread the to match the adjustment made to the underlining. The pleated patern front was a little tricky but I took my time and did what I thought made sense and the alterations worked!

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Don't think so just because I do not see a need for this style dress.m I made this for a friend. I would recommend the pattern to others.

Conclusion: I l gained more confidence and am beginning to trust my instincts as far as pattern alterations. This is a cute, relatively easy dress pattern but pay close attention to the pattern layout so you don't accidently reverse the pieces.
