Pattern Description: Misses' & Plus Size pullover dress in two lengths, tunic or top with shoulder pleat detailing, sleeve variation and tie belt at the waist and pull-on pants.

Pattern Sizing: XXS-XXL, I made a M.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, but I like my fabric better

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love that this pattern can be sewn start to finish in <6 hrs. I also love the easy style that lets a dynamic fabric shine. I like that the waist ties are incorporated into the back darts but wish the ties were drafted longer so they can wrap around and back again to tie. Finally, I love that the neck facing is sewn down in the armhole bias tape, making it less likely to flop out while wearing.

Fabric Used: Paint splatter silk crepe de chine from Sawyer Brook.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: My only alteration was to add 1/2" "full butt" adjustment at the center back seam of the skirt. I think 1/4" would have been adequate since my boobs hiked the front up a little to offset it. I guess you could do a FBA if you really wanted to prevent this ;)

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would consider sewing this again and do highly recommend it. It is a nice, simple dress with waist definition that would be a good match for any number of fabrics.

Conclusion: This is a great quick woven dress that is flattering on. The simple canvas lends itself to embellishment or highlighting fabulous fabrics.

Real nice this caught my eye since I just cut the tissue out for this last week and I have some Sawyer Brook fabric to go with it. 6 hours to make could be a one day project if it rains. Thanks for the review katski :)🌟
