|Pattern Description: MISSES’ CARDIGAN AND TANK TOP: Cardigans A, B have set-in sleeves and shaped hem. A: ribbon ties. B: tie ends that are one with front bands. Tank top C has front darts.|
I made the tank top in view C.
Pattern Sizing: All sizes in one envelope (A - J)
I made a size "D".
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, the garment looks like the envelope drawing.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, this was an easy pattern to construct, as the instructions were very clear and concise.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really liked the way the neck and sleeve openings were drafted, as I prefer the narrow 'band' style rather than a narrow hem.
Fabric Used: The fabric is a light blue cotton/lycra knit from my stash that I purchased from Vogue Fabrics remnant table a few years back at a Sewing Expo event.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did not make any alterations to this pattern at all.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I will make this pattern again, it is a great wardrobe builder. I have several small pieces of fabric that will work great for this sleeveless top to wear under jackets for Fall.
Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would recommend this pattern to others if you can find it, as it is an out of print pattern, and may be difficult to find.
Conclusion: This is a great little sleeveless top. The bust darts give it a great fit. The styling of the neck and sleeve bands give it more of a RTW look than a simple narrow hem.
