|Pattern Description: |
Misses' Pants, dress or tunic and jacket or vest. I made the dress, view B.
Size 8-16. Started with size 12 at the shoulder, graded to 14 at bust and 16 at hips.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, I was happy with the way it turned out.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I did not use the instructions, pretty easy to put together and this is a test garment, going to use as sleepwear.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Like the shoulder detail and CF and CB seams that shapes it nicely. It is plain but not boring.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I did not use the facings for the neckline but finished it with the same binding as the armholes. The dress was shortened by 10cm and i made my usual square shoulder and swayback adjustments. If i make this in a woven it will need a FBA. There was no need for a zipper because of the stretch in the fabric.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would like to make it again in the tunic length. This is a very versetile pattern and with minor changes can look very different.
I would like to make the jacket from this pattern also.
