Pattern Description:
Summer Dress with full skirt and bodice variations

Pattern Sizing:
D5 (4 - 12) I made size 8

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
I made View B with the shoulder straps and the sleeves and Yes it absolutely did

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very Easy and well illustrated

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Love the bodice variations of this pattern. One pattern, several dresses if you so choose! Nothing to dislike.

Fabric Used:
100% Viscose according to the website. But I couldn't find this in the drop down menu for the patten review

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added piping on the bodice front seams and at the waistline for a contrasting effect. I had no fit issues other than the shoulder straps were far too long.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes I would make this again especially as i know it fits without alteration. Always a bonus! Highly recommend to others but I would advise to baste one of the bodice side seams together, attaching the skirt and then pinning the other side seam whilst wearing it before attaching the straps so you can get a better idea of the strap length (the weight of the skirt pulls the bodice down to the correct position). I found the straps to be way too long.

Conclusion:
Lovely feminine and pretty summer dress or even suitable for a special occasion depending on fabric choice.

Hello, working on my first version now. This dress is sew way cute. Oh and yes, work it girl (the piping). I hadn't even thought of that. Was so busy thinking about binding the seams (something I would NOT have done in times past but I'm working on taking my sewing up a notch).

Nice dress! I'm so glad to hear that the fit was good for you right out of the envelope! You never know with some of the big 4 patterns.
