Pattern Description: MISSES' TOPS AND TUNIC: Very loose-fitting tops and tunic have dropped shoulders, yoke and pleat variations, narrow hem and front button closing. A and B: collar extends into tie ends, mock front band, back yoke, forward shoulder seams, and no shoulder seams. A and C: armhole bands. D: tie ends. Shaped hemline B and rolled sleeves D: wrong side shows. C and D: collar/front bands and button tabs. I made view C.

Pattern Sizing: Xsm - Sml - Med Based on my bust measurement, I made a medium and it is ha-yooooj!! I knew it was very loose fitting, but didn't mean for it to be a tent. I could have made an extra small.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? It did.

Were the instructions easy to follow? The collar was a bit fiddly and ended up being bulky, but then again I struggle every time with collars. The bottom of the front band was a challenge as well. Good thing the dark fabric is hiding a multitude of sins. Otherwise, the instructions and illustrations were adequate.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the gathering at the back yoke and the pleats at the shoulders.

Fabric Used: A rayon challis from a local fabric store, Ely's Fabric Warehouse

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will not be sewing it again for myself, but I would recommend it to others. Keep in mind that it can be overwhelming on a petite frame.

Conclusion: I'll be sending this to DD as she is beautifully curvy and more suited to this particular style.
