Pattern Description: From the envelope, 'Close-fitting, pullover tops have draped front neckline variations, narrow hem on back neckline, and stitched hems.' I made view B with the low drape and short sleeves.

Pattern Sizing: 8 - 24 I made size 10. The bust measurement on the tissue was 34 for size 10 so that's what I went with. The fit is just right. I probably could have gone with the 8 because my fabric is pretty stretchy.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I believe it does.

Were the instructions easy to follow? This is a Palmer/Pletsch pattern so there are pages and pages of instruction covering every fitting issue you might need help with. So this would be a good pattern for a beginner.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I was looking for a drapey-neck knit top so I was happy to see this pattern. I like how the neck is's the same technique I have used in the past. It's easy and makes a neat finish front and back.
No dislikes.

Fabric Used: This is a rayon/spandex from StyleArc. I was ordering 5 patterns and thought I would add a couple yards of this just to see what it's like. I can rarely ever pass up an animal print. The fabric is just ok. If it was exceptional in some way it might be worth it to get more but I can get this quality and better here in the US. One thing I ran into is that it was cut rather poorly. I had more than enough for my top but it is something to keep in mind if you order fabric from them.
I used So Fine 50 thread from Superior.
StayTape used in the shoulder seams is from JoAnn's.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made no sizing alterations.
I hemmed the sleeves while straight and then sewed them in flat.
I also hemmed the front and back before sewing up the side seams.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I would consider making this view again as well as trying the other views.
I would recommend it to others. Keep in mind the front is low on this view. You could always use the front from view C or D if you don't want it so lowcut.

Conclusion: This is a good pattern with a variety of sleeve and neckline options. The instructions are very thorough so whatever your skill level you should be able to get a nice outcome.

Nice top! Too bad the fabric is not all that great, but it looks very nice!

Based on your terrific result, I am buying this pattern while it is on sale. I keep thinking that animal prints will go out, but maybe they are here to stay. I still wear a top I made 10 years ago from a leopard print and am making a leopard print chenille cushion, hoping it doesn't become dated soon. Apparently, it won't.

Love the drapes on these tops, they are so flattering on most people. Thanks for the sizing and depth of the neckline on this view~very timely since I had my hand on this very pattern from my stash last night!

Your top is very nice. I am working on the same top and it is really low. I have to figure out how to bring up the drape.

Very cute and great to know about the StyleArc fabric too - I agree, it ought to be extraordinary to justify. I love this neckline, and your fabric choice for it looks up my alley too! : ) Looks like a fabulous piece to have.

Love, love this top. I love the fabric, and I am not even really an animal print type, but this is beautiful. I love the shape of the top as well. You did a terrific job.

Despite the fabric quality this is pretty sharp, I know what you mean about animal prints I love them too. You know if you space out your pattern purchase for StyleArc you will get a free pattern every month with purchase, shipping has been greatly reduced recently when ordering small quantities, I have my patterns lined up for purchase when a free one appeals to me, just a thought Patty :)
