Great looking pair of shorts and the color that any 8 year old will love.

Ok, I'm gonna have to buy this pattern. I love the flat stylish front with the darts, and the fact that there is elastic in the back and no zipper. I think this would work perfectly for my sway backed 8 yo. These shorts are really nice; thank you so much for the great and detailed review, and for bringing this pattern to my attention :)

Princess Jenny, you are welcome. I bought this pattern when it was on sale for 99 cents. I wasn't really overjoyed with it when I bought it, but after making it up, I really, really like it! It looks much better made up, than what the drawing shows.

Jen, I'm gonna have to get this!!! I love the newer bermuda shorts (a little tighter fit than back in the 80's), and Kayla would look so cute in these!!!! Thanks for the great review!
