Every time I wear pants from this pattern, i get asked if i've lost weight! is that a ringing endorsement or what? 8/24/05 7:14 AM

I found a 100% cotton wrinkle free twill at JoAnn's that is almost like fabric in the Lands End pants I used to wear for school uniforms. It comes in black and they have it online if your beautiful DD is interested. 8/24/05 2:57 PM

I'm working on a pair of Burda WOF pants and I have been stalled for several days from a case of flyzip-itis! (i'm chicken to try it :o) too many confusing markings!) Now I feel brave enough to try-thanks for the idea on finding the center front and going from there. I also appreciate the waist band tip. Very helpful! 8/26/05 7:29 AM
Vintage Joan said... Hi -- nice pants and nice review. :) One note, though, since I just finished these myself. This is actually not a fly-front zipper, but a lapped zipper with "fly" topstitching added to give the illusion of a fly-front zipper. 3/31/10 10:48 AM
