Irina, I thought of you when I made this skirt. It seemed to be so suited for you that I actually was convinced that I'd seen you review it. Thanks for the compliments.

Lovely skirts and I especially like the shorter version (only because I have never ever worn a long skirt in my whole life). They both look great on you and glad you are happy with them. Lovely.

Both skirts are great on you, but I especially love the longer green one -- my fav color! -- and it looks so nice with the pretty top you're wearing with it.

Love the skirt and the top too; did you make that as well?

These both look great on you--and much taller than 5'4"!! And that's a compliment! (and I agree, it does look like an Irina skirt!)

Very pretty and flattering skirts, jlg! I always love seeing how you accessorize the garments you make, and that long skirt outfit is a definite wowza!

I like the skirts. Green one is my favorite, green is my favorite color and looks so summery. The shorter skirt is nice also but reminds me of fall and I am not ready for fall or winter yet. Like the blouse with the green skirt also.

Both skirts look great on you, but I'm partial to the long one: looks very graceful and cool. Very lovely flow, and I agree with sew2little that you look much taller than 5'4 in the long skirt.

Thanks for the review & photos. Like the others I'm so impressed with your elegant style! Also, thanks for the hemming details. I love gored skirts & I'll have to try that hem.

The skirts are wonderful, but what I really like is your garden!! You always have the most beautiful backdrop for your photos -- makes them especially fun to view.

I really like the pronounced flare in both skirts. Can't decide which one I like best, because they both look so great on you. Thanks for rolled hem tip.

I really like this skirt on you. I think I might try making the short version to go with a jacket I just made. -Ann
