Claudine - what a wonderful and generous way to support your sister! ....I remember an MD who once wore a Halloween print scrub cap (his wife had whipped up a whole years worth); my kids were really tickled by that. I think patients of all ages really appreciate colorful scrubs!

Yes you are really a good sister to her and it's great that colorful clothes are accepted there, we must wear white and most of us hate it.

Marita, my daughter is majoring in nursing in college and she is having an awful time getting used to her white uniforms. She says she feels like a marshmallow...

I kind of know that feeling, but lucky for her she doesn't look like one, I do, we call them moomin clothes:-)
