Interesting pattern. I agree the panels get lost in this fabric but its pretty anyway.

This is one of those patterns that I like but would never make for myself. Don't be so hard on yourself; very few people are going to notice hem details.

The stitching lines don't show in all the photos you took, but the skirt hangs beautifully and is quite pretty.
