Wow. These pants look great on you, drsue. You are right that the waistband makes your legs look longer, and the shape of the leg is very flattering. I would kill to get any pants to fit in back as well as yours do without alterations. I, too, have a generous derriere, so perhaps I need to try a Neue Mode pattern. You should definitely make more of these. You look at least 5'4" in them.

These pants look great on you. I truly am impressed. I have short legs, swayback, sinking butt and a pot tummy, maybe these might work for me. They truly fit you well.

The pants look great on you. I think you are way too critical of how you look in pants. Great fit. I love Burda but I'm seriously considering trying a Neue Mode now.

I love both pairs on you. I have a favorite simple pants pattern also, and have found that different fabrics really affect the fit--I have taken to pin fitting the side seams to make sure I am on track--congrats on finding a beautiful slack pattern that is so flattering!
