These turned out perfect! I usually leave off "fake drawstrings" too. Seems like they just end up getting in the way more than anything else. Love your fabric!

Those look very comfy and you did a wonderful job! I love the fabric. :) I too have wide hips and (relatively) thin legs so pants are always traumatic. Yay for making your own (better-fitting) pants!!!
