I always have a problem sewing nice straight lines and I did have problem negotiating the little tight turns . I am one of those who ALWAYS have to do it wrong to start with SO after I sewed the beak on upside down I marked on my pattern to turn the folded beak Down and then I got it right and it was easier for me to put the tail feathers on first and then the beak. After I used my kit for the rest of my flock I caught a plastic table mat for .50 and I used all of that to make the rest of my flock. I did think she gave EXCELLENT directions and pictures! Wish all patterns were as nice as this one !And yes I do adore this pattern and would highly recommend it! 9/28/08 2:54 PM
