Nice review and your DD is such a cutie! Actually, I had no idea KS made patterns like this, but then I have no grandchildren yet so just hadn't looked. It looks very nice and you worked through all the challenges!

Textile Outfitters recommends searing the edges of Supplex by running the cut edges *quickly* through a candle flame. You have to hold the fabric edge tight while you do this, so it doesn't shrink (practice on some scraps first). I have done this and it virtually eliminated the fraying. I hope this helps your next project!
