Your husband IS cuter than the geek in the pattern photo! And, you're very nice to make him some nice looking pj's instead of letting him wear highwaters wtih sleeves that go barely past his elbows.

Nice pj's, and you are correct in thinking there were missing instructions for the sleeves. Most patterns have you initiallty turn 1/4", then you turn up the rest of the hem...(this makes the raw edge not show)..... I am really surprised at the amount of alterations you were able to do, since you rate yourself a beginner.
