You did a great job on the sweatshirt. He looks very happy with your work. One note though: you might want to consider changing the color of the drawstring--it is right over his crotch :)

I've had great luck with this pattern also (I lined the hood with microfleece). Congrats on the sweatshirt. Fabric does sometimes stretch, particularly knits when covered with lots of thread. Since it is a knit, you don't really need to overstitch the edge. The interfacing would make the pocket edges less likely to stretch out, that's all. At least, I think that's what it's for! :) Isn't it great to be able to make something for your DH that fits? !

I think this looks great!! Like the colored string and you can certainly tell hubby is very tall...because it covers his entire torso...Good job!
