Thanks for reviewing this! For your next try maybe a knit with some lycra or spandex in it would help the leg binding problem. I know for me rib knit does tend to stretch out.

For your first ever sewing project these turned out GREAT! I'm completely impressed! Another idea, instead of putting elastic in the leg bands (although that would certainly work) is to cut the bands a little smaller and stretch them when attaching to the body. Congrats on making a very wearable 1st garment!
