Very nice pants, especially for a first try, and I like your fabric. You're right, with menswear the details have to be just right or the garment looks wrong. On women's we can fudge on whatever we want and just say it's the style...

These pants are awesome! The fabric looks like it would be so nice to sew and wear. Nice job! I'm impressed they are your first pants pattern.

Great pants! Thanks for the comment about the rear pockets. I was thinking of leaving them off when I make pants for my DH (he puts his wallet in the front pocket), but both of you think that would look wrong. :-) Pants are usually easy to sew, once you get the fit right. Looking forward to seeing more!
