Mary Ann, I love your review. I cannot wait to see your pictures, as I'm sure they'll be very inspiring. These pants are among my favorites to wear, as there's something about the straight drop from the hip that's quite flattering. They're a good pant for fall/winter, as well, because they look very nice with boots.

I love these pants, too. I have a long crotch, so the only change I've made to the pattern is to add a 1/2" to the back length, otherwise they are perfect and very tailored looking. Unlike a lot of her patterns, you have a little more wiggle room to play with firmer fabrics with this pant. I agree with Diane, they are good pants for boots with the wider leg.

I hope someone can answer this since it is now 3 years since this post. Where can I find Diane E's directions? I did a search on Sewing World but the topic no longer exists. :(

Nancy, I think things will be clearer if you look at Diane E's actual review of the Euros that she did a year ago. In it she reprints some of her RTW Euro pictures. Try them; you'll love them...
