Whew! 1/4" SA would be difficult with that fabric. I think you ought to write a children's book on the adventures of sewing!!! They would be so tuned in!

What a pretty skirt. It looks really slimming too. If you want to keep the frayed edges on the flounces, you can just stitch 1/4" from the edge and the fray won't go further than the stitching line. Fun review.

I have this pattern (because I must buy all new patterns, I must, I tell you! :-) But have not made it because of the "dorkiness" you mention in your review. As usual, KS looks SOOO much better when made up. Thanks for this review, very helpful and entertaining.

The skirt looks lovely on you. Reading your review made me laugh - you do have such a good and amusing way of expressing things. If I go for this pattern will remember the 1/4" SA . An busy looking at recent reviews for skirts as I have been told that this is THE THING to have this coming Spring - hard for me - a dedicated jeans/slacks person but have to try to keep up with the times!
