Yikes ! I have this pattern, was gonna sew it this summer. Now I think I'll dump it in the donations bin. I'm not savvy at all with fly-fronts, sounds like this one would not be a good learning experience. Thanks for the heads-up !

I have no idea where the pattern companies get their measurements for kids clothing - especially boys! They are huge. I sew for my grandsons and ran into this problem. I don't know if this will be of any help but I take their soon to be discarded jeans/cargo pants/shirts and draft my own patterns - adding in enough allowance to make them fit for awhile. There sure is a market out there for good patterns for kids.
