I am a beginner and don't think I could do this. But , wow, I want to see a picture!

I'm also a beginner, so I don't think I could do this, but I have been finding myself looking for patterns to duplicate items I find in catalogs or stores. Especially when I see a simple skirt like you described, priced at $70 or more.

Thanks for the review Jennifer. Can't wait to see the photo. I think its a lot about the fabric too when sewing simple things as this skirt.

I like the skirt. Although, I was unable to view it in the larger size by double clicking the picture. I also use Mac picture galleries. Yours will not put the picture up larger. It goes to the screen, but nothing loads. Don't know why? I did like the pictures, though.
