I enjoyed your review and have had this pattern for about 2 years...although I have yet to make one pair. My goal this week is to get atleast one pair made, how would the fit of the sohos compare to the loes hinse european pants. Also I would appreciate a picture to see just how close fitting they are Thanks

I dont' have the european pants pattern, but from what I've read they are totally different. The sohos fit over the hips and get narrower towards the hem, while the europeans "hang" from the hip (meaning they don't outline it!) and are fairly wide at the bottom- I know some have narrowed them by 3" total. Check out the reviews for the europeans here, and there's also a thread just for those pants at www.sewingworld.com. I have the camera ready, and will try to get a picture tonight, as I'm wearing the pants as I type!

I've had this pattern forever and just started it today. I thought about moving the zipper to the back. Would you please comment on this -- did it fit and look right? I'm at the point where I need to make the decision.
