Becky, thanks for the review. My mom is making this dress in purple Dupioni to wear at a very formal wedding in Paris and then as a bridesmaid in her cousin's wedding. It is difficult to find a dress for a 70 year old bridesmaid. It is reviews like yours that keep me coming back to Patternreview.

Wow and Wow - this looks stunning. Black is a classic. You can always infuse a bit of color with jewelry. A very detailed review. It looks like you made a lot of small adjustments to get the exact fit that you wanted. Great job.

Becky your outfit turned out so lovely! Have a wonderful time on your cruise. BTW, I found a product that gets out those deodorant stains - it's called GalPal (NAYY). It's a sponge that has something in it. It takes deodorant and other stains right off clothing without affecting the fabric. The Container Store sells it, as does Beauty.com. I really love it and use it on everything! -Ann
