Those look really nice, much dressier than lounging pants, I think. I have to make some pants, and I know I have to extend the back rise & scoop out the rear to fit me properly. I think it's a change many of us have to make!

I was just in Carmel yesterday and saw these at the Loes Hinse boutique. They *really* want a heavy draping fabric to fall correctly. My friend tried them on and we were able to tell exactly where she'd need to alter the pattern (which she bought there). they are a great, basic pant pattern. Good luck with your tweaks.
