Nice top--I have the pattern but haven't made this yet. I love the faux piping--I've used that in the past too, and it looks really great.

I like the look of this pattern. Your review was a huge help in visualizing the process. Thanks for the tip about the binding. I have done that in the past with bias tape on placemats.
