I love this type of skirt. I see that you made the version with the band at the bottom. Were there any challenges with attaching it?

AnneM, I think I like this pattern a little better then the other gored skirt. this one is a little more fluid where the gores on the other one are more "bam". PattiB: No, no challenges on attaching the band, however, since I didn't use the correct number of gores, I did have to adjust it to fit fewer gores. But not tricky at all. It is long, however, but I am tall, but if you are any shorter then 5'8", you would need to adjust the length prior to sewing.
