Lovely skirt..the trim and fabric co-ordinate perfectly.

This looks like it is bias cut, based on the pattern drawing. Is it? I love long skirts.

To AnneM: Yes it is a bias cut pattern. It is very much a SWING skirt with its 4 gores. Wide on the bottom, narrow at the waist--it has a zipper and fits snugly around the hips or waist depending on how you want to wear it. The measuring Burda has you do is accurate for the fit with the exception that the bias cut adds more "give" than trying on the paper pattern does. If I make it a third time I will go down 1 size lower than my measurements would suggest. If that resulting in the skirt being too tight for the hips I could always wear it at the waist.
