Anyway, I agree with you on too much glue - plastic canvas should wash fine, but glue becomes problematic. And -my- purses eventually need washing, especially with regular cotton which doesn't particularly shed dirt well or hide it..

The pattern is McCall, not Simplicity - that fixes the wedding dress thing. fuzzygalore, the chopsticks are just threaded through the handle loops, they aren't glued or anything. Because the chopsticks are fatter at one end, you can kinda wedge them in there, and it seems like they will stay fairly well. 6/1/06 9:33 AM
