Ann- at some point I will start my "panty binge" and do lots of lingerie sewing. I was stocking up on lingerie elastics and decided to order some brighter colors and unusual elastics as long as I was paying shipping for the more traditional offerings... so the most unusual choice gets used first. Time-wise, it helps that DH works Saturdays - plenty of Linda-time to sew.

Very entertaining review, and I learned a new very vivid fashion term: butt velcro! I believe I've had that affliction on occasion, but never knew what to call it.

Lovely review! I like what you tell us about, and the things you try. I love the lingerie story - I have an ambition to do this one day too. Your solutions to the problems of fitting are great - I have actually never been attracted to this pattern, and it helps expand the horizons to see other people's enthusiasms. Thanks!

Great review - dress looks absolutely lovely on you. Bravo for working through all the little fitting problems - had a hearty laugh at "butt velcro" much funnier than my name for that. Hope you had a wonderful dinner with DH and am sure you got many admiring glances.

I'm certain that DH did not complain about the neckline. It really looks great. What a fantastic job you did on your "quick fixes".
