Beautiful work matching center fronts and along pocket edge, making it look so much better than RTW!

Right on time! I was planning to buy a KS shirt for hubby today. He was a 4th of July shirt to wear! LOL This is the one!

Looks great on your model. Very impressive job of matching the print, especially on the pocket. I hope your FIL loves it.

I'm generally not a big fan of Hawaiian-type shirts but I like your version. I hope your FIL liked it.

Great shirt, Debbie. I really appreciate the hint about the sizing. Am planning a shirt for DS and he's away for the summer.

Great shirt! You did a fabulous job matching the print -- you're right the pocket is really hard to see, because the match is so good! I'm sure your FIL loves it!

Great fabric. You're such a great DIL. I wish DH would wear a shirt like this. It's hard to get him to wear anything except crew t-shirts.

Great shirt. I have this pattern in stash, and dh loves hawaiian shirts. I just have to find the right fabirc. I can also understand the button sorting. I was given a small bag from a great aunt in NZ. Most the buttons are antique shell, amber, bone and other interesting things you don't find today.

What a great summer/Hawaiian shirt. Thanks for this review. It appears it is a popular one and I certainly can understand why.

Terrific "retro hawaiian" look, love it. Good job. Buttons are addictive - they should come with a warning. And I agree that the fabric is free as you put it.lol

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. I so appreciate (and LOVE) it! notimetowork Yes, it's a pretty easy shirt to sew even if you've not done anything similar because the KS instructions are quite thorough and well-illustrated. Plus, it's usually easier to fit men than women. :-)
