said... Rennie, you've been sewing up a storm it seems :-) Nice top. I have this pattern but havent tried this view. I found the scoop neck to be too wide for me. Did you alter the neck at all? 10/23/02 9:46 AM
said... Deepika, I didn't find any alterations necessary in the cowl neck version. I would suggest you try the cowl piece on your neck before sewing this onto the shirt. Depending on how long your neck is and how thick your fabric is, you may want to cut it down some. 10/23/02 11:28 AM

said... Rennie, I made this top, and did not comment on the tight sleeves, as I thought it was "just me". I oftern have to enlarge the bicep area. Although the top was cute, I ended up giving it away, as I found I do not like cut on sleeves. I do not find the extra fabric under the sleeve to be comfortable or attractive. This is of course after I have sewed up 2 different cut on sleeve patterns. Both went to a "new home".
Deb, I made the full bust adjustment on this top. I basically cut off the cut on sleeve, made the adjustment (a sewn in dart) and taped the sleeve piece back on. HTH. 10/23/02 7:34 PM
