I love your skirt. These skirts are so cute without looking cartoonish or like they belong on a runway and nowhere else. You did a great job.

Looks great, you're right. I have the same back-shelf problem, and yes you'll need to make the back longer - unless you decide to make the back yoke longer, which is another possibility? Love your lining, so japanese in contrast. I'm thinking slinky would be a great fabric for this...

Yes adding length at CB and tapering to sides is how I have to lengthen my skirts also. Very nice skirt - very cute on you!!
